Manicure services offered in Janea Nail Studio
We offer express manicure services such as a simple shape and colour for both standard polish and gel polish. We specialise in European manicures which are performed dry, with a cuticle remover used to soften cuticles which are removed with a wooden stick and cuticle pusher. Sometimes cuticle nippers are used to lightly remove the unwanted dry cuticle. Our express services take about 15 minutes for a standard polish and about 30 minutes for a gel polish. Gel polish is increasingly popular due to its longer-lasting effect and strength, usually lasting 2 or more weeks chip free. Standard nail polish is quick to apply and remove but there is no guarantee how long it will remain chip free. If you like to add some length to your nails, then hard gel or acrylic nail extensions are your options.
Looking after your manicure
Regular visits to the nail salon and good care in between will help to keep your hands and nails in a good condition. To ensure your manicure lasts longer in between visits you can moisturise your hands with lotion as well as your cuticles with cuticle oil. We advise to use rubber gloves when doing housework involving water. Also, taking long baths may affect the product, causing nails to soften and your manicure to spoil.
